Historic Districts

All properties within the Downtown Local District or Sweeney Estate District should apply for a Certificate of Appropriateness for changes to the exteriors of their buildings. When in doubt, please ask! We are happy to field questions or have an informal session at our next meeting.

Properties with Local Landmark designation also need a Certificate of Appropriateness for changes to the exteriors of the building.
